Travel. Is overpaying a must?

Retire at 35

✈️ Travel is a costly budget item among investor community, and for some reason it is not accepted to save money on such luxury. It took me about 10 years to thoroughly think this issue through. Quarantine situation made it crystal clear for me. 😷

In 2020 I was able to take a vacation 4 times. With a penny budget.🤑 And I received a lot of positive emotions.🤗

🗺️ Before that I visited a lot of countries. At my home there is even a map on which you can mark the places you visited with a special coin. I have never used it.😜

When I go to some city nearby, I get the same pleasure as when I travel to Cairo, Vienna, Munich, etc.

Are you in need of sunny weather and appropriate climate? Does it have to be a flight to the Maldives? Maybe it would be better to go to Turkey and/or Egypt? 🏖️

🧠 In terms of obtaining hormones of joy there is no difference. The most memorable trip last year was to a city 50 miles away from Moscow. I only spent some money on a train ticket. 🚆

But for a deceived brain this difference is huge. It was imposed on us by marketers and friends on Instagram.🤳

We enjoy bragging and satisfying our ego. We are obsessed with life checkpoints.🏁

🛒 All this can become a shopping habit. Be careful. Think about your vacation trips.⚖️
